Hi. What is the difference between cosmetology and esthetician? I always thought that estheticians have to be cosmetologists.
cosmetology is makeup, hair, skin and nails
esthetician is ONLY skin so you are specialized in skin
cosmetology including hairstyling, nail technology and esthetics. also beautifying and improving the skin facials, nails and hair and the study of cosmetics and their application.
* Estheticians improving skin that including the treatment of skin disorders, hair removal with waxing or tweezing, and facial massage, basic make up application.
Cosmetology is the study of beauty treatments, including hair styling, makeup application, and nail care. Esthetics, on the other hand, is the study of skin care and treatments that improve the health and appearance of the skin. While there is some overlap between the two fields, estheticians typically focus exclusively on skin care, while cosmetologists may provide a wider range of beauty treatments.
Cosmetology is hair , skin care, nail.
Estheticion is just skin care on facial.
* cosmetology including hairstyling, nail technology and esthetics. also beautifying and improving the skin facials, nails and hair and the study of cosmetics and their application.
